This position will operate equipment in a general construction setting. As an equipment operator, you will operate machinery to perform activities such as excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading and final clean up. Underground utilities digging experience a must.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

Works in a team environment and will perform duties such as:

• Operation of backhoe, skid steer, trencher, forklift

• Excavating

• Backfilling

• Trenching

• Ditching

• The operator may also perform functions of a laborer as required

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:

• To be considered for this position you must have previous construction experience

• Experience operating a backhoe in an underground utility environment a must

• Candidates must be able to demonstrate operating a backhoe on site as part of the interview process
