Rural Electric Elect Apprentice in Mesa, Arizona

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  1. Duties are to include some or all items as identified by the Labor I and IV descriptions

  2. Bending plastic or metal conduit

  3. Installing wiring devices, boxes, and other equipment

  4. Pulling, terminating and testing wire (Must be directly supervised by Journeyman)

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:

Employee must have a minimum of 6 months of Laborer experience with Rural Electric, Inc. and a minimum of 1 year of construction experience or equivalent to be considered for the Apprenticeship program. High School or GED required. Must maintain valid drivers license. Specific tools are required, see tool list for more information. Continued attendance (in good standing) in apprenticeship program is mandatory.

Required Training: Safety Orientation, Quality Orientation. LOTO company procedures, MSDS training may require a class “B” CDL depending on company needs.

Lock out/Tag out set

New Hire Safety Orientation, MSDS, LOTO and QMS are required on or before the first day of employment.
