Job Title: Sr Mech & Robotics Tech

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician III, you will lead service technicians on the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

  • Experience with automated conveyor systems.

  • Complete preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, motors, PLC programming, PLC troubleshooting, and control systems.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.

  • 4+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

  • 4+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.

  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.

  • 4+ years of experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.

  • 3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Formal training on high-speed, automation, and robotic equipment will be provided.

Work Environment

This role is based in a large distribution facility with high-speed automation equipment, mostly with robotic components. Candidates should be comfortable with their performance being tracked by data and numbers. The job requires walking up to 10,000 steps per day and moving up to 49 lbs at a time. All candidates must be open to any 10-hour shift, as there are available positions for all shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Mesa, Arizona.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00
