Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Weekly Pay up to $30/hr

Job Description

We are a manufacturing company that produces products from reclaimed rubber. We purchase used tires from semi-trucks and make items such as rubber flooring.

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic. This is primarily a mechanical maintenance job with light electrical maintenance responsibilities. For major or high-level electrical fixes, a specialist will be called in. Your role as a Maintenance Mechanic is vital in supporting our Machine Operators and ensuring efficient operations to meet customer demands. Your innovative mindset and hands-on expertise will be invaluable in enhancing machine performance.

This position will also be responsible for the maintenance of the facilities, including light maintenance of the facility and knowing who to call for any significant HVAC or technical fixes.

Hard Skills

• Corrective and breakdown maintenance of all equipment

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical and electrical equipment

• Diagnose machine malfunctions and determine the need for adjustment or repair

• Dismantle machines or equipment to examine parts for defects

• Replace defective parts with new parts or repair/reproduce parts

• Assemble and test operate machines to verify correction of malfunctions

• Preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment

• Maintain and lubricate machine tools and equipment

• Basic fabrication and repair of necessary equipment

• Perform testing, diagnostic, maintenance, and troubleshooting on machine tools and mechanical systems

• Perform diagnosis on plant power distribution systems

• Research and identify electrical components and parts

• Maintain and repair physical structures of buildings and grounds

• Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade equipment

• Install air/water/hydraulic piping and additional systems for proper machine installation

• Read blueprints, schematic drawings, and diagrams

• Assemble and test operate machines to verify safe working order and functionality

THIS IS A 1ST SHIFT OPPORTUNITY

6:00am-4:30pm Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch break

Smaller manufacturing plant in Mexia, TX. Company makes products out of reclaimed rubber. These will be the only two Maintenance Technicians at the plant. This is coming in at the ground floor for a location that expects to grow and build.
