Description
Job Title: Manager of Product Engineering Team (Wafer Probe)
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Product Engineering Team focused on Wafer Probe in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with Production Planning, Quality, Test Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of manufacturing processes.
Drive yield performance by receiving new technologies and implementing strategies to enhance yield metrics.
Oversee wafers being processed in the manufacturing line for yield performance and management of non-conforming material.
Deliver quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives for the Operations group.
Assume organization-wide ownership for one or more strategic objectives, fostering a culture of operational and engineering excellence.
Promote a proactive quality culture throughout the organization.
Partner with internal customers from Development teams to Fab Operations and Module Build & Test teams to deliver innovative filter technologies in support of corporate objectives.
Lead and participate in various cross-functional and Lean activity teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
Over 8 years of experience in Yield, Defect Density, or Technology Development roles in semiconductor wafer processing, with a preference for leading-edge technology experience in a high-volume fab.
Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing methods and Six Sigma is highly desirable.
Advanced troubleshooting skills, capable of addressing complex and novel issues.
Proficiency with data analytical tools such as JMP.
Ability to manage multiple issues and shifting priorities effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills with creative and out-of-the-box thinking.
Self-motivated, able to take initiative, and effectively prioritize work.
A strong desire to contribute to a positive, winning, world-class working environment.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Responsibilities include directing, leading and managing the technical activities in one or more engineering disciplines (mechanical, software, packaging, electrical, reliability, systems, applications, or process engineering). Evaluates final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
