Your New Role :
The Associate Developer, M365 role will assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining custom applications using the Microsoft 365 (M365) Power Platform and SharePoint. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills and gain experience in Dataverse and Azure to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of business solutions.
Your Role Accountabilities:
OPERATIONS
Assist in the design and development of custom applications using the M365 Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Develop and integrate custom solutions within SharePoint Online to enhance business processes and workflows.
Learn and utilize Dataverse for data management, storage, and integration across various applications and services.
Assist in Implement and manage Azure services to support and enhance the functionality of custom applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality code standards are maintained.
Work closely with senior developers and team members to ensure best practices and high-quality code standards are maintained.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to design scalable and robust application architectures that meet business requirements.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications, ensuring smooth deployment and transition to production environments.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in M365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Dataverse, and Azure, and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches to enhance collaboration solutions.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on best practices and solutions.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1-2 years work experience or internships in developing custom applications using M365 Power Platform and SharePoint
Basic knowledge in REST API calls and programming languages.
Experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, development, and customization.
Some knowledge in Dataverse for data management and integration.
Experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure SQL Database.
Solid understanding of system architecture, microservices, and API design.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Not Required but preferred experience:
Relevant certifications in M365, Power Platform, SharePoint, and Azure are a plus
Some knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks and technologies
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
Knowledge of additional Microsoft technologies, such as Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Teams.
Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus.
Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.)
Familiarity with streaming and similar products/services
Experience working in a national or global company
Some visualization tool knowledge would be helpful (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment
