Carlton Fields, P.A. Legal Administrative Assistant in Miami, Florida
Carlton Fields is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for its Miami office.
Qualified candidates will have at least five years of experience in business transactions and tax and probate. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Proficiency in French is a plus.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to be proactive. Qualified candidates must be proficient in or have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic document management systems. Experience with Filesite is preferred.
Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
Assisting attorneys in preparing, proofreading, and revising documents
Scheduling of travel, appointments, and maintenance of calendars
Maintenance of files and records
Submission of new business/matter opening paperwork and conflicts requests
Time entry and client billing
Assist other assistants and attorneys, as necessary
Actual salaries will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience and skillset. The salary range listed is just one component of the Carlton Fields total compensation package for employees.
