Description

Robert half is currently seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a firm in the sport industry. This individual will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization, providing accurate quantitative information on financial position, income and expenses, and other financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and budgeting.

• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Analyze financial information to ensure all transactions comply with financial policies and regulations.

• Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.

• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper control of financial resources and compliance with all regulations and laws.

• Investigate account discrepancies and work towards effective solutions.

• Assist with the creation of budgets and financial projections.

• Contribute to business decisions by providing financial inputs.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a MUST

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or, experience in the sports industry, is a plus.

• Solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.

• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other financial management tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attentive to detail, highly organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Fluency in English and Spanish would be highly desirable.
