Role Summary:

As a Warehouse Material Handler, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Using hand trucks, forklifts, and other handling equipment, you'll load and unload materials to and from trucks, aircraft, or trains. Your work will ensure that everything is in the right place at the right time, allowing operations to continue seamlessly. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse operations who is looking to bring their skills to a thriving team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility, ensuring safety and accuracy.

  • Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other handling equipment.

  • Move materials between aircraft, trucks, trains, and storage areas with precision.

  • Follow established safety protocols to minimize risks related to machinery, chemicals, or physical hazards.

  • Work in collaboration with team members to meet operational goals and maintain a smooth workflow.

  • Maintain organization within the warehouse and ensure materials are handled correctly.

  • Report to a supervisor or manager to ensure all processes are running according to plan.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 4-6 years of experience in warehouse or material handling roles.

  • Strong understanding of common warehouse practices and procedures.

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, hand trucks) safely and effectively.

  • Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines in a structured work environment.

  • Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs. and handle manual tasks with occasional repetition.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with powered industrial trucks or heavy equipment.

  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and hazard management.

  • Ability to work under immediate supervision while contributing to team goals.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
