DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Miami Lakes, FL. will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop

• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

• Maintain own tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Completes complex internal engine repairs

• Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls

• Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools

• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components

• Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. QUALIFICATIONS

Work in chassis components as, but not limited to transmission, steering system, brakes and A/C system.
