How you will contribute
The Quality Lead, US Network Manufacturing position provides leadership in the US Network Manufacturing organization in ensuring Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance of internal and /or external manufacturing plants. This position is responsible for leadership in the areas of quality manufacturing program deployment, collaboration with manufacturing quality personnel, Food Safety and Quality Systems, product standards and Regulatory Compliance. This position drives and partners with the plant-based teams to assure achievement of superior customer satisfaction, consistency, value and food safety.
This position has indirect reports at internal and external manufacturing facilities. This position ideally requires experience with Snacks or Confections quality and/or manufacturing, understanding of Quality & Business Systems and the ability to influence stakeholders

• Business acumen and influencing and negotiating
• Auditing certification or equivalent experience is a decided advantage

What you need to know about this position:
Primary Responsibilities
• Influence Operations & Deliver continuous improvement across manufacturing network through new tools / application, network benchmarking and leveraging cross-category, cross-region collaboration to ensure product design processes and quality systems are best in class.
• Drive the successful implementation of quality policies, programs, tools and technologies that position Quality as a competitive advantage. Leverage shared services to enable achievement of manufacturing goals. Ensure preparedness for internal and 3rd party audits.
• Work with plant quality managers to develop the plant Quality departments and capabilities. Provide necessary training and development in product knowledge, process technology, process control, optimization techniques, QP’s and Mondelez competencies to increase employee effectiveness and achieve optimum performance levels. Ensure direct staff is properly trained, focused and viewed as exceptional partners to the plants and external manufacturers.
• Providing program support to sites and facilitates in corrective/preventive action plans. Work with facilitates to ensure achievement of certification for 3rd party program, FSSC.
Education / Certifications:
B.S./M.S. in a related scientific discipline
Job specific requirements:
• Minimum 5-8 years of related experience (Operations and/or RDQ) with demonstrated technical and managerial ability.
• Excellent leadership capabilities, interpersonal relations skills and problem solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Quality Principles and Mondelez Quality programs and Policies.
• Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the organization within corporate and manufacturing settings.
Travel requirements:
50% domestic travel
The base salary range for this position is $106,300 to $146,200; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
