Job Title: Technician

Job Description

We are currently looking for technicians to assist with construction cleanup, water mitigation, and minor carpentry duties. This role involves maintaining equipment used in daily tasks related to debris removal, containment/drying chambers, pump system knowledge, carpet seam cutting and cushion removal, and baseboard removal. Candidates with previous construction labor experience who are looking to transition into an apprentice carpentry role will find this position a great fit. The job requires working in environments that may be dirty and involve heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction cleanup and water mitigation tasks.

• Perform minor carpentry duties including carpet seam cutting and baseboard removal.

• Maintain equipment used in daily tasks such as debris removal and containment/drying chambers.

• Operate pump systems and perform general labor tasks.

• Work in various commercial buildings and respond to fire and water emergencies.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in the construction field, preferably in restoration.

• Willingness to work in environments that require cleanup and heavy lifting.

• Reliable transportation.

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

• Willingness to take a respirator test when brought on permanently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong work ethic.

• Experience as a laborer.

• Recent construction experience.

Work Environment

The work environment includes various commercial buildings, and the role involves responding to fire and water emergencies. Candidates must be reliable and have dependable transportation. The position also requires on-call availability every other week. Work hours are from 6:30am to 3:30pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
