Insight Global is searching for an Electrical Engineer for an oil and gas client in Midland, TX. This person will be designing and optimizing high, medium, and low voltage systems for the field development of upstream and midstream facility operations like tank batteries, compressor stations, and gas plants.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Electrical modeling programs to conduct power studies (SKM, ETAP, etc.)

Design and troubleshooting electric motors and related equipment including motor starters, motor protection relay, and variable frequency drives

Knowledge of applicable codes, government regulations, standards pertaining to electrical systems such as NEPA, NEC, and API. Oil & Gas, upstream work experience

Awareness of sync power systems between self-generation and utility power

Interfacing with power utility companies null
