We are currently seeking a BSA/AML OFAC Compliance Specialist to join our team. This position will be a full time remote role. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to:

· Be responsible to review alerts for all new and existing customer and related beneficial owner names against the following lists: Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Section 311 of USA PATRIOT Act Special Measure, US State Department's Terrorist Exclusion List (TEL) and Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). Confirm matches via internal systems. If confirmed forward to the EDD team.

· Be responsible to understand OFAC sanctions and "red flags" associated with various regulations such as BSA, FATCA, UDAAP. Communication with branches to resolve exceptions identified.

· Written communication to close alerts or document exceptions identified.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Requires High School degree or equivalent and 1+ years of banking, BSA/AML compliance, bank branch operations, processes, procedures or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

· Working knowledge of audit review process and procedures.

· Good understanding BSA/AML Compliance as it applies to OFAC.

· Basic knowledge of AML/BSA Regulatory compliance processes and procedures. Knowledge of the following regulations is limited to red flags.

· Good research, verification, analytical, customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to manage deadlines, be organized, detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and able to multi-task.

· Must be able to meet performance expectations including Service Level Agreements and Quality Assurance review expectations for performance.

· Good follow through, attention to detail and documentation skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively with a compliance and branch staff.

· Demonstrated computer skills including typing, Work, Excel, PowerPoint.
