The People Development Project Coordinator - Intern is responsible for coordinating the training plan re-design project, partnering with the Technical Training team and Learning and Development Coordinator to create a technical training learning framework under the direction of the Director, People Development and Director, Training Compliance. This internship will be for 12 – 15 weeks in the summer of 2025 in Midvale, UT.

Responsibilities / Job Duties:
Partner with the People Development and Subject Matter (SMEs) teams to review current training courses and plans
Work with SMEs, technical trainers, SH&E (the safety team), and the operations managers to create a training framework for approximately 200 locations under the direction of the leaders responsible for ensuring training happens
Make recommendations for a final training framework
Assist the Learning and Development Coordinator in updating the learning management system (LMS) as directed based on the final framework
Partner with the training compliance team to refine reporting as requested
Assist in seeking out opportunities to help identify and create improvements in the overall Team Member experience
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to work as part of a team, with strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
Education:
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program with a focus on:
Human Resources
Learning and/or Organizational Development
Information Technology – Learning Management Systems/HRIS/HTML helpful
Project Management
Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
Moderate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills with the ability to learn in-house computer systems
