Description and Requirements

The Profit Manager and Country FP&A , as a Finance business partner, is responsible for driving and implementing an efficient profit management process, analysing the overall P&L, defining and driving actions and programs to drive more profit contribution. The candidate will be also responsible for the regular forecast process, the spending control with our partners and will support on a daily basis the Sales Director and the Country CFO, to ensure accuracy of business commitments and an appropriate control posture.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide financial approvals on pricing requests within delegation level.

  • Conduct detailed reviews of customer requirement, ensuring appropriate pricing methodology and profit maximization for each opportunity.

  • Maximize bid profitability through detailed understanding of cost dynamics and components roadmap, providing guidance on most competitive offering.

  • Act as the Finance business partner for the organisation, to ensure forecast accuracy, business analysis and profit recovery plans to hit annual targets.

  • Manage and consolidate the large deal funding control.

  • Identify and develop process improvements to drive efficiencies and enhance profitability.

  • Conduct quarterly account reviews on TOP Accounts to optimize pricing and configurations.

  • Support the development of the Pricing team.

Organization:

The candidate will report to the Country CFO and will be part of the Finance organisation, supporting Lenovo’s customers. Limited travel may be required.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of previous experience in Finance roles, in particular in Pricing and Profit Management.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (preferred Master’s) in Business Administration and relevant post graduate Finance qualification.

  • Experience in IT products and solutions sales on end-user or channel business preferable.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

  • Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English languages, both written and spoken.

  • Mastering Excel and other office applications.
