Summary

The Irrigation Crew Leader in Training will be responsible for co-leading the crew in the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems at commercial and residential properties by working with the Irrigation Manager to ensure all aspects of the irrigation projects are completed to company standards as well as managing tasks that optimize efficiency, productivity, sales and profitability.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Lead, train, and assist crew to carry out daily assignments and routines
2. Recognize tasks that need to be completed to keep the department productive and profitable, delegate the tasks as needed
3. Support ongoing learning and development of team members
4. Operate a variety of equipment such as pumps, valves, sprinklers, pipes and other related irrigation equipment to complete daily assignments
5. Prepping areas for irrigation projects
6. Installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinkler systems, drip lines, spray heads, pressure regulators, faucets and other components of an irrigation system
7. Meet company standards and requirements as well as comply and enforce all safety rules and regulations
