Job Title: Controls Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a maintenance technician who has either completed schooling in mechanical programs or has prior industrial maintenance experience. The Maintenance Technician will be required to perform preventative maintenance, PMs, and mechanical repairs on high-pressure pasteurization machines, as well as other machinery in the plant. This role involves working with pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, gears, and other equipment, with a significant amount of pneumatic and hydraulic work. The maintenance technician must follow GMP regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and PMs on high-pressure pasteurization machines.
Conduct mechanical repairs on various plant machinery.
Work with pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, gears, and other equipment.
Perform pneumatic and hydraulic work.
Follow GMP regulations.
Troubleshoot and determine root causes of equipment issues.
Take apart machinery and reassemble it.
Essential Skills
Basic understanding of preventative maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes of machinery issues.
Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble machinery.
Experience or education in mechanical programs or industrial maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
Vocational program graduates or auto mechanics are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment
The work environment includes a 1st shift from 6 am to 3:30 pm and a 3rd shift from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am. Employees will be given uniforms but can wear casual clothing until then. The dress code includes wearing pants, recommended long sleeves due to the plant's temperature of 40-45 degrees, gloves, hair nets, beard nets, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes. The plant floor is wet, and temperatures are kept between 40 and 50 degrees. This facility operates 24/7, following GMP, USDA, and FDA regulations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
