SITE STAFFING INC Freight shipping clerk in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Oak Creek, WI 1st shift, 8am - 5pm \$19 - \$30 p/hr Summary The Freight Utility is responsible for providing clerical functions throughout the logistics department. This position will maintain in/outbound shipment information and coordinate freight line and customer pickups Duties Process production orders for truck shipments to comply with specified shipping lead time Process LTL, truckload & expedite shipments (Inbound and outbound) using Acumatica and TMS Calculate and add customer freight charges (and carrier costs) to orders in TMS and Acumatica Provide LTL freight quotes to customers and sales departments in a timely manner Troubleshoot and develop solutions with challenging delivery locations and time sensitivity Assist with carrier freight bill audit Provide freight claim processing as needed Provide Support on parcel quotes and carrier invoice audit Enter international orders online as needed Accurately process incoming shipments, including inspecting, counting, and verifying items against purchase orders. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to company standards. Utilize RF scanners and MRP systems to track inventory levels and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Maintain organized records of all shipping and receiving transactions. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to move products within the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the shipping and receiving department. Assist in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock replenishment. Skills Proficiency in order fulfillment processes with a strong understanding of e-commerce operations. Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory management is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate counting and measurement of products. Experience with picking, packing, and shipping procedures in a distribution center environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
