JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1st shift 8:15am-5pm M-F Position Overview: The Freight Utility is responsible for performing clerical duties within the logistics department. This role involves maintaining accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments, as well as coordinating freight carrier and customer pickups. Process production orders for truck shipments, ensuring compliance with specified shipping lead times Manage LTL, truckload, and expedited shipments (both inbound and outbound) using Acumatica and TMS Calculate and add customer freight charges and carrier costs to orders in TMS and Acumatica Provide timely LTL freight quotes to customers and the sales department Troubleshoot and develop solutions for challenging delivery locations and time-sensitive shipments Assist with carrier freight bill audits Process freight claims as needed Support parcel quote generation and carrier invoice audits Enter international orders online when required Provide support to the LTL Office and OS&D Freight positions within the business unit Backup Flagpole Sales by processing bid invitations within Construct Connect Assist with small projects as needed Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy. Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
