Zablocki VA Medical Center (Milwaukee) Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Family Medicine Physician at the Milwaukee VAMC in Wisconsin! Position Details: Outstanding work/life balance \| Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Freedom from weekend and holiday responsibilities. Opportunity to give back & care for our Nation\'s heroes \| Compliant and appreciative patient population. Provide history, physical examination, diagnosis, and initiation of medical treatment. Initiate and facilitate treatment and transfer in emergency situations. Follow-up office visits for existing medical problems with appropriate diagnostic tests and medication adjustments. Referral of patients as needed to appropriate VA specialists/services or other appropriate health care services. Document assessments and plan of care for each patient in accordance with policies and procedures. Act as a consultant in clinical practice. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure continuity of patient care. Collaborate and act as a patient advocate. Maintain knowledge of new and current clinical methods. Physician shall be available to accept patient results to be communicated via phone after hours by the lab. Approximetely 10 patients each 8 hour shift. One year task order.
