We are in search of a VP of Operations to join our team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading and managing our maintenance and technology teams across three campuses. You will play a crucial role in establishing operational strategies, managing facilities, and overseeing the overall operational performance to meet our organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Maintenance and Technology teams, working closely with team leads to support operational performance and goals.

• Collaborate with leadership to establish and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.

• Manage activities related to the operation, repair, maintenance, and construction of facilities, equipment, buildings, and grounds to enhance efficiency and minimize interruptions.

• Work alongside the Technology Manager to support their deliverables.

• Oversee the design and development of school facilities and formulate operating rules, regulations, and procedures.

• Develop procedures for potential accidents, fires, or other emergencies.

• Conduct inspections of school facilities or review inspection reports to determine required repairs, replacements, or improvements.

• Hire, train, and supervise maintenance personnel and delegate duties such as maintenance, repair, or renovation.

• Administer and inform related budgets, review reports of expenditures for the previous fiscal year, and propose improvements to facilities to prepare budget estimates for the upcoming fiscal year.

• Manage the procurement of utilities or operation of utility systems and direct contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or related field.

• Proficient in operational tools such as 3M, ADP - Financial Services, Chef, CRM, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Knowledge of About Time software is essential.

• Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions and Budget Processes.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

• Must be adept in ensuring Compliance in all operational processes.

• Proven experience in Technology Management is needed.

• Strong background in Maintenance Management is desirable.

• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies and objectives to drive the business.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven track record of managing complex operational processes and driving change.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change.

• Ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.

• Strong understanding of industry legal regulations and compliance procedures.
