Job description

• Preventative maintenance:

Regularly inspecting cranes for wear and tear, lubricating parts, checking fluid levels, and performing routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns.

• Troubleshooting and repair:

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues with cranes, including problems with motors, gearboxes, brakes, and control systems, and making necessary repairs by replacing parts or adjusting settings.

• Load testing and certification:

Performing load tests to ensure the crane is operating within its capacity limits and maintaining necessary certifications.

• Component replacement:

Replacing worn or damaged parts like hoist ropes, wheels, bearings, and electrical components.

• Electrical troubleshooting:

Reading electrical schematics to identify and fix electrical issues within the crane system.

• Documentation and reporting:

Maintaining detailed records of inspections, repairs, and parts used on each crane.

• Safety compliance:

Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures related to crane operation and maintenance.
