100% Remote CDI Specialist

Duties:
Review patient medical records to ensure accurate documentation and coding.
Work with doctors and other healthcare staff to improve documentation quality.
Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
This is a 100% remote position, work from anywhere in the U.S.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED.
Experience in trauma or transplants, 3+ years in CDI, and experience in large facilities.
Familiarity with 3M360, Optum, and Epic is a plus.
Certifications like CCS, CRC, CDIP, or CCDS are highly desirable.
Experience in DRG validation or auditing is a plus.
Skills:
Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
Education and Certifications:
High School diploma or GED.
Relevant certifications (RHIT, RHIA, RN, RRT, CCS, CCS-P, or medical degree).
CDIP or CCDS certification required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00
