Job Title: CDI Specialist I

Department: Arizona Clinical Documentation Integrity

Duties:

• Review patient medical records to ensure accurate documentation and coding.

• Work with doctors and other healthcare staff to improve documentation quality.

• Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

• This is a 100% remote position, work from anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.

• Experience in trauma or transplants, 3+ years in CDI, and experience in large facilities.

• Familiarity with 3M360, Optum, and Epic is a plus.

• Certifications like CCS, CRC, CDIP, or CCDS are highly desirable.

• Experience in DRG validation or auditing is a plus.

Skills:

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving.

• Effective communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.

Education and Certifications:

• High School diploma or GED.

• Relevant certifications (RHIT, RHIA, RN, RRT, CCS, CCS-P, or medical degree).

• CDIP or CCDS certification required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00
