Salary $57,607.10 - $91,428.67 Annually Job Type Full-time Job Number 24HED07MV065 Closing Date 10/9/2024 11:59 PM Central Description The Community and Economic Development (CED) division of the Housing and Economic Development department is seeking an experienced and dynamic Contracts Coordinator. This position will primarily support the division s various economic development programs and projects with contract management, procurement coordination, financial tracking, contract monitoring, process improvement and relationship building with program vendors and other stakeholders. Location and hours: This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at 701 4th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55415, and remote as job duties require. Work hours are flexible, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This position will require attending some early morning, evening, and weekend meetings, occasionally in areas with limited public transportation access. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin. New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022 to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable upon completion of 6 months of employment. In this position, you will: Coordinate in alignment with county legal, financial, and purchasing requirements to draft clear, concise, and legally enforceable contracts. Conduct due diligence process and effectively track and monitor contracts throughout the contract life cycle. Collaborate with program managers to ensure contracts are complying with reporting, promotional, or other programmatic requirements post-signature phase. Coordinate vendor selection processes in alignment with purchasing rules, working with program managers to customize templates and develop procurement plans, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Request for Qualifications (RFQs); set up information sessions; develop proposal evaluation tools; and facilitate proposal evaluation panels with program staff. Support management in improving departmental procurement and contracting processes. Support team in documenting department s business processes and assist with process mapping.
