The pay range is $147,000.00 - $264,000.00

Within Marketing Product, the Content Creation & Operations team is focused on building tools and processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation in content production. By reducing duplication and enabling personalized, high-quality content at scale, this team plays a key role in transforming how Target creates and delivers content across all channels.
Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology and design work.
You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product managers while also building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product teams. You will be responsible to elevate your collective team’s performance by providing insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.
We are seeking a Director, Product Management – Content Creation & Operations to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of tools and solutions that optimize content workflows. In this role, you will focus on driving operational efficiency, enhancing scalability, and fostering innovation in content creation processes, ensuring seamless delivery of personalized, high-quality content at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for tools that optimize content creation and operational efficiency. Lead and bring forward GEN AI solutions for content creation across production at scale and net new content creation
Build and deliver scalable solutions for managing end-to-end content production workflows, from ideation to delivery.
Align product priorities with organizational goals, ensuring tools address business needs and enable growth
Partner closely with marketing, creative, and operational teams to gather insights, align priorities, and deliver innovative GEN AI content creation tools.
Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency by ensuring tools meet stakeholder needs and enhance team productivity.
Lead initiatives to enable content personalization at scale, ensuring content resonates with multiple audiences and aligns with brand objectives.
Drive process automation and implement technologies that reduce production timelines, enhance quality, and improve efficiency.
Stay ahead of industry trends in content operations and emerging tools to keep the organization competitive and innovative.
Leverage AI and advanced technologies to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and drive scalable content solutions.
Mentor and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer focus.
Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes, addressing resistance and supporting stakeholders during transitions
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Create feedback loops and prioritize product enhancements to ensure tools evolve with business needs and market dynamics.

About you:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of product management experience with a focus on content creation, content operations, or creative workflows.
Proven success in developing scalable solutions for content storage, reusability, and multi-channel deployment.
Strong knowledge of content production processes, creative tools, and collaboration platforms.
Experience leveraging AI and automation to optimize workflows and improve scalability.
Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence at both strategic and operational levels.
Demonstrated ability to think big, define OKRs, and drive measurable business outcomes.
A bias for action, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that meet business needs.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
