Work you'll do

The Manager will support in the following areas:

  • Manage policy execution; ensuring a proactive and organized approach to achieve successful outcomes, leading to improved policy comprehension and compliance among professionals.

  • Oversee and collaborate with other departments to enhance processes, systems, and compliance with US Firm's administrative policies.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation, to ensure timely completion of multiple high-profile strategic initiatives.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication, ensuring that project status, progress, and any issues or changes are documented and conveyed to all relevant parties.

  • Escalate issues with proposed recommendations to senior management when necessary.

  • Perform research to ensure systems align with policies, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to reduce risk of non-compliance.

  • Lead efforts to streamline processes and improve systems and operational efficiency, resulting in cost savings for the firm.

  • Partner with various teams on policy development and implementation, focusing on solutions and continuous improvement.

  • Offer insights to support decision-making around policy and/or process changes.

  • Build long-term trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders across the firm.

  • Participate in training and development to educate team members and professionals.

  • Assist direct reports with daily work planning by identifying and reprioritizing priorities.

  • Manage team members virtually across various geographies.

  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, providing mentoring, feedback, and professional development opportunities to direct reports.

    The team

Policy Strategy & Compliance (PS&C) provides holistic policy management on strategy, governance, monitoring, and coordinated communication and support across the firm's Administrative Policy Releases (APRs). Our areas of focus include:

  • Ensuring policy supports the firm's shared values and connects with in-flight initiatives.

  • Establishing a policy community of stakeholders and SMEs to improve policy transparency and coordination.

  • Evaluating and upgrading monitoring and reporting to identify and address areas for improvement.

  • Enhancing and developing communications, trainings, websites, and apps to drive a meaningful user experience and enable compliance.

  • Supporting acquisitions and geographic expansions with appropriate policies and protocols.

  • Reviewing existing system functionality (e.g., DTE, A/P, etc.) and process guidelines, identifying and administering opportunities for system and process improvement, as well as opportunities to better connect our people to policies and protocols.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related subject

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant operational experience

  • Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:

  • Project management

  • Change management

  • Business process improvement

  • Limited sponsorship may be available.

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

  • Ability to travel 0-10 %, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • Advanced education degree

  • Experience in a professional services firm

  • Understanding of Firm's policies, systems, and processes

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $163,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
