MULTI-CRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

$26.76/hr-$38.30/hr DOE

The opportunity:

\u2022 Performs preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment on a scheduled basis; Inspects belts, gearboxes, chains, bearings, etc.

\u2022 Troubleshooting of low voltage circuits, analog devices, VFDs, and motor control circuitry to obtain a root cause of failures.

\u2022 Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and devices to determine faults and failures.

\u2022 Regular repair and maintenance are required in non-production areas including the warehouse, design lab, building, and grounds.

\u2022 Uses CMMS system for work order implementation, recordkeeping of daily activities, and planned projects.

Requirements:

· Must have 1-3 years of successful electrical troubleshooting and repair experience, and be able to operate small machinery (lathe, drill press, welding equipment.

\u2022 Mechanical Automation System Installation & Troubleshooting

\u2022 Experience An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.

\u2022 A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

\u2022 A strong PLC trouble shooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.

\u2022 Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.

\u2022 Must be computer literate with Microsoft environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

\u2022 Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner. \u2022 Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week.
