Humera is looking for a Project Coordinator II to join our client, a highly sought-after medical device manufacturer, in a long-term contract position. This role will provide project or program support to functional groups and/or business processes. The ideal candidate has experience in operations management, has strong written communication skills (in composition, grammar and punctuation, and critical thinking), strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet and graphics presentation applications), and an ability to work well under pressure in an ambiguous and dynamic environment. This position will be fully on-site in Minneapolis, MN, so only local candidates will be considered at this time.
Job Duties
Provides project or program support to a functional group or business process.
Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and time tables.
Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.
Gathers and compiles information for reports.
Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding.
Delivering support services or activities to individual contributors who provide organizational related support or service (administrative or clerical) for other members within the organization.
Works on assignments that are extremely complex in nature, and may be responsible for leading daily operations.
Obtains or provides information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department.
Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.
May act as a team lead and assistant to the supervisor/manager, including delegating tasks to other team members and being responsible for the review of work products.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience.
Advanced practical knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through extensive work experience and/or education.
Ability to perform a variety of complex or technically advanced administrative and clerical duties.
High-degree of initiative to complete work without established procedures and ask questions when needed.
Ability to take on special assignments and provide instructions to junior employees in order to accomplish daily work activities.
Strong problem-solving ability.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
Experience working with a variety of internal and external contacts.
Ability to work with sensitive information.
