"Job#: 2042707 Job Description: Remote or Hybrid: Hybrid, 3 days onsite in MinneapolisNumber of Years Experience Preferred: 10-15 yearsTop 3-5 Requirements: This is a very business facing role. The candidate must have experience leading a visible, complex large project.Purpose of the PositionDrive implementation of project deliverables as defined in the project charter.Ensure budget, scope, schedule, risk, and quality meet success criteria.Keep key stakeholders informed and engaged.Utilize company and industry standard project management methodologies and tools.ResponsibilitiesAlign project deliverables with business objectives.Define, estimate, and schedule project tasks and interdependencies.Identify project resource requirements and ensure skilled resources are available.Hold resources accountable for delivering on the project plan.Adhere to approved project methodology and maintain project artifacts and records.Identify and track key measures of success.Analyze project performance and create cost-benefit analyses.Implement corrective actions and facilitate project change requests.Provide consistent communications and progress reports to stakeholders.Escalate significant risks and issues to the Steering Committee/Project Sponsor.Work effectively with business partners, vendors, technology, and project management staff.Transition project into daily business operations at the end of the project.Ideal Candidate QualificationsAbility to balance political, economic, social, technological, and administrative factors.Competency in adapting to changing environments and ambiguous situations.Attention to detail and ability to drive results.(Executive and Senior roles) Ability to act independently with little direction.Desire to satisfy requirements from multiple customers/stakeholders.Ability to quickly sift through concepts and drill down into actionable steps.Solid understanding of Project Management methodology, tools, and techniques, including CMMi methods.(Executive and Senior roles) Experience leading multiple complex projects from design to delivery.Objective decision-making ability, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to adjust quickly to changing situations and drive results through ambiguous environments.BA and/or BS in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent work experience.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
