NBC Universal Sr. Account Manager - Safety in Minneapolis, Minnesota

In this role, you will specifically support our NCSI platform. As a strong team player, you will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to our existing enterprise level, NCSI customers.  Specifically, focusing on the optimization of our background screening packages, industry expertise and advising on customer’s safety programs. 

Job Duties 

  • Foster relationships with NCSI Enterprise accounts and be a strategic partner for their national safety programs   

  • Ensure a strong partnership with the NCSI Onboarding and Compliance teams to onboard clients 

  • Be present at key industry leading events, as well as critical events for top NCSI customers  

  • Hold regular account reviews with your territory and promote full adoption of NCSI’s solutions 

  • Provide consultative feedback/advice to help create the best possible experience for our customers and their entire organization  

  • Continue to gain advanced background screening industry knowledge while developing sales skills to better assist customers 

  • Act as a leader within the Account Management division, being open and willing to teach your peers  

  • Ensure that any statement of work (SOW) and service level agreements (SLAs) included in agreements are executed to or above customer expectations. 

  • Foster a team atmosphere - support your teammates and share lessons learned  

  • Maintain accurate daily record of sales activity using Salesforce.com 

  • Meet and/or exceed department metrics and goals  

  • Other duties as assigned   

Basic Qualifications  

  • Expected to travel on an as needed basis for in person business reviews and key industry events  

  • College degree or equivalent experience 

  • Strong written and telephone skills required  

  • 4+ years' experience in sales, account management, and/or customer service 

  • Strong work ethic to effectively manage your time to drive growth within your assigned territory.  

  • Demonstrated multi-tasking abilities with consistent and timely follow-through 

  • A self-starter and problem solver, a team player

  • Sales experience within background screening industry is preferred   

  • Sales or direct working experience with the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee is preferred 

  • Experience using salesforce.com or similar CRM system is preferred

Pay range: $75,000- $79,000,000 per year with 43% Sales Incentive Comp target
