SUMMARY: The Systems Administrator supports the daily operations of the Information Technology Department. This person will ensure the security/safety of all components, applications, and data. This individual also coordinates effective end-user support solutions and works with 3rd party technology vendors for long term success. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Infrastructure and System Support: • Support and maintain company-wide infrastructure, technologies, and systems. • Ensure stable operation of systems, business applications, and databases in collaboration with Managed Services Providers. • Oversee system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages. Cybersecurity and Compliance: • Regularly review and act on MDR, EDR, phishing, and vulnerability reports. • Conduct quarterly and annual cybersecurity, licensing, data access, and employee training audits based on National AAA technology standards. • Maintain and test business continuity and incident response plans. Software and System Improvement: • Identify and act on opportunities to improve software, systems, and performance. • Monitor and report on changing network and systems technology. Application Support and Troubleshooting: • Provide database administration, application support, and troubleshooting for business applications and interfaces with select vendors. • Provide primary and supplemental support for end-user trouble tickets, ensuring positive user satisfaction.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in a medium-sized environment. • Advanced experience in Microsoft Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 (including Entra and Intune) administration. • Working experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and voice over IP (VoIP) telephony solutions. • Experience with on-premises hardware systems and configurations (SAN, WAN, LAN, virtualization). OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Strong understanding of network architecture and methodologies. • Proficient in systems analysis, diagnostics, and repair. • Strong troubleshooting skills for software, hardware, networks, and databases. • Functional knowledge of IT security, access controls, multi-factor authentication, and disaster recovery. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams. • Ability to maintain positive vendor relationships.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
