Overview
The Senior Engineer Enterprise Systems is responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of systems software and hardware. Possesses a strong understanding of systems engineering, graphical user interfaces and control languages. Evaluates vendor supplied software packages for fit and performance and makes recommendations to IT management. Modifies and/or debugs vendor-supplied utilities and packages. Modifies and prepares technical documentation for telecommunications, network, and system software applications. Diagnoses, isolates and de-bugs software problems and performs problem resolution. Monitors system capacity and performance and provides Tier 2 technical support.
We are seeking an experienced IAM Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management (IAM) solutions with a strong focus on infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IdP platforms such as ForgeRock or Okta, combined with a robust background in infrastructure engineering.

Primary Responsibilities
Develop new systems and maintain and modify existing systems when required
Provide technical guidance in planning and executing assigned projects
Perform system repairs and oversee periodic inspection processes
Participate in project analysis, design, implementations and commissioning phases
Prepare user requirements, technical specifications, design specifications and commissioning plans
Provide support in system acceptance testing and validation activities
Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs
Analyze project requirements and accordingly provide technical and functional recommendations
Evaluate existing engineering processes and recommend improvements
Recommend new technologies to improve system performance and reliability
Perform system failure analysis and provide corrective actions
Monitor systems capacity and performance and provide Tier 2 technical support
Serve as an engineering technical resource for infrastructure initiatives
Provide coaching and mentorship for team and peers
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve technical communications and network issues (tier two support)
Provide input to supplier management team to help manage telecommunications and network-related vendor service level agreements
Stay up to date on telecommunications, networks, and network-related technologies
Serve as a technical resource for infrastructure initiatives that require telecommunications or network expertise
Coaches and mentors others, especially more junior Engineers
Preferred Qualifications
Skills
Knowledge of remote server management and design concepts
Scripting Languages – PowerShell
Knowledge of network components (WAN and LAN)
Network and routing
Working knowledge of storage and data protection technologies
Competent with SQL
Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible
Abilities
Ability to ascertain when a system or environment has a problem, issue, or fault.
Ability to create, read, analyze and interpret technical diagrams and written procedures
Ability to arrange processes or data in order or patterns specific to polices, processes, or system requirements.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, strong attention to detail
Ability to analyze and solve problems, thinks outside of the box and grasps technical concepts
Ability to combine information or data to find relationships among seemingly unrelated events

Microsoft Certified System Engineer

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of engineering experience in a Microsoft Windows environment with more than 300 production servers
2+ years engineering experience in a Linux operating system environment
5+ years of experience supporting VMware Virtual Infrastructures
5+ years of experience supporting server hardware platforms such as: Cisco UCS, Dell, HP
1+ years of experience supporting cloud infrastructures such as: Azure, AWS
1+ years of scripting experience such as: PowerShell
