Job Title: Kitter

Job Description

A company in Mishawaka is seeking a Kitter / Inventory Clerk for the 2nd shift. The company supplies hydraulic valve manifolds for the fluid power industry. The candidate will gather parts from inventory/vertical storage units and kit them for specific assembly orders. They will use the ERP system to kit the parts, update/correct the ERP system, and then cart the kit to assembly. The ERP system is not entirely accurate, so the candidate needs to take ownership of the job and correct the system as they go. They will also manage an 'island of misfit toys' where there is $500K worth of unfinished kits, requiring knowledge of inventory to finish those kits if possible. Accuracy and detail are critical to this role. The company seeks to improve the process, and this person will be integral in that role over the next several months. The role involves transacting items in and out of the ERP system and correcting data when needed. This is a collaborative role with the 1st shift kitter.
