ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Supervise, interact with, and motivate students in the classroom. * Reward students for completed assignments to help build their confidence. * Evaluate and document student progress to help track their growth. * Communicate student needs to the center director to ensure individual learning plans. * Inspire and develop a rapport with students to help them reach their full potential. * Establish a fun learning environment that fosters creativity and confidence. * Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and Sylvan to inspire students.   KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED We are seeking candidates with:  * 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring on a school campus is required * State or provincial teaching credentials preferred * Ability to teach general math through pre-algebra * A fun and enthusiastic teaching style, ability to motivate students, and positive attitude We are currently looking for a teacher who can work in the afternoon Monday-Thursday.
