Eaton Corporation Internship: Continuous Improvement Associate (4-month) - Mississauga, ON, Canada in Mississauga, Ontario
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Continuous Imrprovement Associate Intern.
What you’ll do:
Primary Function:
Reporting to the Product Specialist Supervisor, this position will work across the manufacturing plant to assist with Lean initiatives related to cost savings, material stocking levels, process flow, standard work, etc. to optimize efficiency.
Essential Functions:
• Assist in project to improve the material flow.
• Participate in Kaizens.
• Creating standard work to standardize processes.
• Designing/procuring jigs and equipment to aid production.
• Write, review and revise operation sheets, prepare or direct preparation of time/motion studies.
• Confer with engineering personnel on design changes.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Enrolled and returning to a college or university program (Engineering, Business, or any Computer related course).
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position does not offer relocation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior internship or co-op experience.
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Prior internship or co-op experience.
