Citigroup Senior UI Developer in Mississauga, Ontario

We are seeking a Senior UI developer to join our dynamic and multicultural team. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled front-end developer with deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React and/or Angular. You will play a key role in building and optimizing user interfaces for complex financial applications, ensuring seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React and / or Angular.

Write clean, efficient and maintainable code in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Apply object-oriented programming principles to UI development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, backend developers and business analysts.

Work closely with end users to gather feedback and continuously improve UI/UX.

Ensure applications are responsive, performant and scalable.

Participate in Agile sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.

Maintain code quality through code reviews, testing and best practices.

Qualifications:

6 - 10 years of front-end development experience

Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React and/or Angular

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

Experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based deliveries

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex UI issues

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Master’s degree preferred
