The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Governance team responsibilities include to (i) Draft and maintain policies, supporting standards, controls, and training; (ii) Interpret and clarify regulatory requirements relative to ERM-owned programs; (iii) Review and improve governance practices across ERM programs. ERM programs include Risk Appetite, Limits Management, and Concentration Risk Management.

Job description

• Design and implement ERM governance documentation including policies, standards, procedures and controls to ensure firm's adherence to requirements

• Design training materials aligned with policies, standards and controls

• Perform gap analysis of existing policies to Regulatory requirements

• Keep abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy changes

• Partner, collaborate, and work with other areas - first, second, and third lines of defense

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Risk Management function with a bank, Financial Services consulting, or regulatory body

• Understanding of Risk Appetite, Limits Management, and Concentration Risk Management requirements, governance, and controls

• Experience managing team and projects

• Proven ability to drive results and meet deadlines

• Highly motivated with attention to detail, team oriented, organized, pro-active

• Ability to assess complex issues and identify potential solutions

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and policy interpretations through concise and clear messaging

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point and Word

Education

• Bachelor's/University degree in a finance, business, or a technical discipline

• MBA desired
