Food Safety & Quality Specialist

Join an industry leader in premium pet products! We are seeking a QA Specialist who will focus on implementing food safety policies on the production floor. We are recognized for our excellence, quality, innovation and leadership in today's pet industry.

Pay: Up to $65k Annual

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the company's Food Safety Program, policies, and protocols.

• Review daily records for quality inspections, HACCP, SSOP, and GMP.

• Monitor food safety processes, including sanitation and inspections.

• Conduct and support routine audits and inspections with relevant teams.

• Maintain audit documentation and review records for compliance.

• Analyze inspection trends to drive continuous improvement.

• Participate in Food Safety Training and team meetings.

• Help develop and update policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field (preferred).

• Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or food production.

• Knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and food safety regulations.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and food safety management systems.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

• HACCP certification preferred.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
