Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. This role involves loading machines with appropriate materials, inspecting products using measuring equipment, recording measurement results, replacing tools, and making necessary adjustments. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
Load machines with appropriate material
Inspect products using appropriate measuring equipment
Record measurement results on inspection records
Replace used tools as necessary
Perform in-process inspections of Level I Operators
Make offset adjustments up to .002
Identify and change worn and broken tools efficiently
Troubleshoot minor issues that arise after tool changes and offset adjustments
Provide detailed tie-in notes, address and avert issues
Operate all machines within their Cell
Set up common jobs within their Cell
Load programs into machines
Back up programs to 'Machine Dump'
Interpret blueprints accurately to make necessary adjustments
Participate in process improvement activities
Set up, maintain, and tear down work areas, equipment, and materials
Ensure work area is neat and tidy
Organize materials, equipment, data, and workflow to meet job requirements
Adhere to work instructions, regulations, manuals, and quality procedures
Properly operate, maintain, and store mechanical tools and equipment
Report job status to supervisor, including malfunctions and non-conformances
Ensure on-time completion of tasks and review work for quality and completeness
Fulfill compliance requirements to ISO Quality Standards and the Quality Manual
Demonstrate clear and effective communication, both verbal and written
Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate paperwork, including job reports and timekeeping records
Adhere to environmental, safety, health, and operations procedures and directives
Promote safe work practices and rectify job site hazards
Read, understand, and interpret lockout/tag-out indicators in the work area
Adhere to organizational policies and procedures
Maintain acceptable attendance requirements and work overtime as required
Perform other related tasks as assigned
Essential Skills
Experience with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other common inspection tools
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic geometry)
Basic computer skills
Experience with CNC machines, including CNC lathe, CNC machining, CNC mill, and CNC milling machine
Experience in CNC setup and operation
Experience in reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipment
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of all job phases
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Swiss lathe experience is helpful
Experience working in manufacturing with trade terminology and nomenclature

Work Environment
100% of the work takes place inside an industrial office/warehouse environment. Employees work in proximity to moving machinery, mechanical parts, and vehicles and may have exposure to prolonged loud noise, including sirens, horns, and tooling. Employees may handle hazardous materials or have exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, biological hazards, and airborne fumes. The noise level is usually mild to moderate 75% of the time. Shifts available: Day shift (Monday-Thursday, 5:30am-4pm) and Swing shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:55pm-2:15am).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
