Wage Range: $28.93 - $43.00 per hour. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation, such as shift differentials and premiums may be available for this role. JOB SUMMARY of ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Adheres to Hospital’s Policies and Procedures and Philosophy of Care. Consistently exhibits professional conduct that is a behavior-based expression of the hospital’s Health & Healing principles. Performs general maintenance and construction related activities relating to mechanical, electrical, heating and ventilation, carpentry, and plumbing systems. Work involves installation of appliances, components, fabrication of parts and systems and repair of equipment and systems pertaining to remodeling and construction related activities. REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 5 year’s experience in construction related field or trade. Experience in the use of construction specific power tools and a variety of equipment. Knowledge and understanding of Building codes and ASHRAE standards. Knowledgeable experience working in a healthcare environment following regulatory requirements is a plus. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to operate a variety of wood working equipment, hand and power tools. Proficient carpentry skills. Ability to perform basic welding and cut­ting tasks. Ability to hang and finish drywall. Basic knowledge of electricity, circuits, and electrical safety a must. Basic knowl­edge of heating and ventilation equipment, including boilers, pumps and ventilation equipment. Good com­munication and in­terper­sonal skills a must. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between EvergreenHealth Monroe and SEIU Service Employees International Union 1199NW
