Ensure the supply chain of elements moulded, elements assembly, packing materials to the production lines according to the plans.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leader of the Logistics Operations related to different LEGO Warehouses and Operational Processes.

  • Be a rol model related to Safety and Warehouse Processes

  • Be 5´s rol model related to Warehouse Processes

  • FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), OEA (Authorized Economic Operator and C-TPAT (Customer Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) knowledge and execution support.

  • Knowledge OHSA'S 18001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001

  • Chemical handling knowledge

  • User/Administrator of the different warehouse software of the area (COMBI System 2.0, WTP (Web Transport Planner), FMS (Forklifter Management System).

  • Ensure COT's of safety, quality, delivery, costs and people.

  • Monitoring the development and training of operational and technical personnel: system, operations and problem solving.

  • Maintain and improve the level of satisfaction of operational and technical personnel.

  • Monitoring and confirmation of warehouse processes to ensure the physical integrity and location of materials,

  • Implementation of corrective and preventive actions in the different warehouse.

  • Participation in continuous improvement events related to Logistics Operations (all kind of resources and processes).

  • If it is needed participation in global forums related to Logistics Areas.

  • Follow up and monitoring of KPIs in the area (Warehouse Operations),

  • Management of operational personnel and technicians as shift leader.

  • Interaction with different departments (HBW, Prepack, Final Pack, Processing, Planning, Purchasing, Imports-Exports and external suppliers.

  • Lead and maintain low costs in the Logistics Operations.

  • Secure local shipments to Distribution Center and cross flow materials (sea way). If it is need also air way.

  • Ensure storage materials from internal suppliers (Receipts Area or Materials´ Return).

  • Ensure complete materials delivery in time and form to all production lines (Processing/Prepack and FinalPack).

  • Logistics materials movements between buildings (A-B) and HBW´s

  • Management of equipment such as racks, forklifts, electric skates, scanners, wrapping machine, battery exchanger (manual/semi and automatic).

  • Management of AMR´s (performance mainly)

  • Maintain the LEGO equipment in proper conditions to ensure operation.

  • Coordination of technicians to anticipate from any change on floor related to Work Orders and the right execution.

  • Must be able to take the initiative and responsibility in terms of solving critical problems related to Logistics Operations.

  • Develop career levels for Operators and technicians (Career Path)

  • Knowledge and Follow-up RIT (Internal Work Regulation)

  • Support on Battery Room main activities (maintain safe conditions andequipment/machinery).Also, report any deviation related to Battery Room Operations

  • Maintain Processing wagons in goods conditions, if there is a deviation request support to Maintenance Packing Area.

  • Ensure special EPP new normative (mouth covers and face masks if applies)

  • Support Yard Management thru Central Yard (Patio) to coordinate Internal Truck Trailer movements.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor´s degree on Engineering

  • Bachelor´s degree on Administrative

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Warehouse Administrations, Warehouses Processes.

  • Leadership, analytical skills, decision making, collaboration, proactive, dynamic, open-minded, high flexibility, personnel administration.

  • Knowledge in fork lifters, scanners, packing materials

  • MS Office.

  • English Intermediate (enough to maintain a conversation)

  • Experience in warehouse control systems

  • Previous experience working with SAP

  • Power BI / Power Apps

  • Autonomous Equipment Experience (AMR´s / AGV´s)

Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
