Job Title: Skilled Helper

Pay Rate: $14HR-$16HR

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled laborer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including general labor, clean up, painting, changing out fans and light fixtures, using hand and power tools, and maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of the building.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks as assigned

• Clean and maintain the building

• Paint and prepare surfaces for painting

• Change out fans and light fixtures

• Use hand and power tools for various tasks

• Perform facilities maintenance

• Assist with carpentry, plumbing, installation, and HVAC tasks as needed

• Maintain and operate hand and power tools

Essential Skills

• Experience with painting and paint preparation

• Knowledge of facilities maintenance

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Ability to read and use a tape measure

• Basic construction and carpentry skills

• Plumbing and installation experience

• HVAC installation and maintenance

• Mechanical aptitude

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance technician

• Industrial and commercial painting experience

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment using a variety of hand and power tools. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the building. The position may require working with industrial and commercial painting equipment. Dress code is casual and appropriate for the tasks being performed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $16.00/hr.
