This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your role: Lead the Brand and Marketing rollout for Mauril, CBC/Radio-Canada’s official languages learning platform.
As Project Manager, Creative and Marketing, your role will involve planning, managing and optimizing the branding, advertising and marketing strategies for a language-learning product on the Canadian market. In this capacity, you will manage, coordinate and develop the various projects in your portfolio, providing your teams with guidance and support. Fully bilingual, you will also determine and plot the go-to-market strategy for the new platform in keeping with company objectives. In this capacity, you will supervise and coordinate the creative and marketing teams assigned to the project as you help develop and implement the platform’s creative and branding strategy.
You are to provide positive leadership by working closely with other teams or departments to deliver creative/marketing strategies and impact projects. You will also follow up with the teams to resolve any issues that arise during project development, ensuring that the results align with the initial objectives.
Your key responsibilities:
Develop innovative creative and marketing strategies for the language-learning platform to attract new audiences to Radio-Canada.
Serve as liaison between the Creative and Brand Strategy team assigned to the project and other Radio-Canada departments involved in developing the interface.
Work closely with your CBC and Radio-Canada colleagues to align the marketing planning (internal media/external investment) with key language-learning messages in order to optimize and ensure consistency in the campaigns.
Build the user journey for our digital consumers and develop the ensuing strategies and tactics that prove the most effective.
Develop 360º marketing plans for the campaigns you lead, ensuring optimal resource management and seeing to good working relations with all Marketing and Communications teams.
Provide end-to-end leadership and overall direction for all aspects of the project portfolio, in keeping with the product vision.
While overseeing and approving campaign development, supervise the preparation of strategic and creative briefs for the media and creative teams, providing clear guidelines on the project at hand.
Approve the media plans for which you are responsible, ensuring a maximum return on investment (ROI) for each campaign. Track campaign performance, share insights, and recommend and implement strategic and creative adjustments to improve outcomes.
Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing trends, technologies and consumer behaviours.
Lead and support certain team members by providing daily inspiration, creative/marketing expertise and guidance through the project planning and development phases.
Please note this is a 12-month contract position.
What you bring:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communication or design. Equivalent experience showing a profound grasp of marketing and creative strategies will also be considered.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in digital marketing or creative strategizing, including designing visual campaigns and/or working with creative teams.
Skills:
Keen interest in digital and emerging technologies.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and negotiating skills in a complex environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid influencing and decision-making skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire your teams and lead by example.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent judgment, sense of initiative and self-reliance.
Experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Solid command of French (working language).
Intermediate proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking).
