The Work

This position is for a highly motivated RF Module Engineer knowledgeable in the area of RF electronics. Candidate will design and develop advanced RF Modules and subsystems for radar and other military systems. This includes managing requirements, maintaining RF budgets, performing detailed analysis, component selection, schematic creation, and supporting build/test of the designed sub-assemblies. In this role you will meet or exceed project milestones within the technical/cost/schedule scope of the project.

This is a Casual position. Hours worked will be

on an as needed basis and may vary.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

- Minimum of twenty (20) years of proven experience working on RF module subsystems, modeling & simulation, architectures, trade studies, integration & test, requirements, verification, validation, system test, design

integration, etc.

- Ability to support top level architecture design including participation with subsystem engineers, and component engineers in developing B-level and C-level specifications as well as create control plans, guidelines, test procedures, and test reports.

- Proven performance in specification, development and testing of RF subsystems, circuit design analysis and testing.

- Ability to perform complex simulation models for both conceptual RF system design approaches and existing systems.

- Flexibility, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work well in team environments is desired.

- Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

Desired Skills:

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

- Expert-level experience in RF Receiver, Exciter, Synthesizer, RFIC/MMIC , or RF Module design and test.

-Proven technical leadership skills & experience

- Ability to write key sections of proposals to win DoD-funded contracts, team with university and or government lab researchers, and collaborate with small and medium enterprise companies

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
