Lowe's Senior Deployment Planning Analyst in Mooresville, North Carolina
Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to work alongside the Senior Merchandising Project Manager in planning and executing Lowe's corporate, new store, and remerchandising store projects. This role works with the Senior Merchandising Project Manager ensuring alignment to the organization's vision and go-to-market strategy by, identifying project scope, developing timelines, providing status reporting, leading risk mitigation and prioritizing the day-to-day tasks of both SSC and Field staff teams across many functions. This role is critical to Lowe's because through effectively facilitating these key initiatives, Lowe's is able to launch our New Stores, alternative store formats, and large-scale projects that drive sales to the bottom line and empower our store associates to more efficiently serve our customers. This includes responsibility for gathering and analyzing service/project specific information and communicating with the appropriate service/project execution resource (i.e. Internal Product Service Associates, Independent Third Party In-Store Service Groups). This role is responsible for not only program and project support, but also for the execution and operational efficiency of these programs and projects
What You Will Do
• Supports the Senior Merchandising Project Manager in developing scope, timeline, budget, and deployment of large-scale initiatives, new stores, and re merch stores
• Participates in prioritizing project/task priorities across the cross-functional project team usually consisting of 25-50 members; works closely with the project team & client to ensure timely implementation and rollout of projects and ensures that all appropriate project activities are defined and appropriately assigned for accountability
• Develops and provides instructions to Store Operations for Merchandising product resets and corporate projects, translating merchant intent into execution in the field
• Captures project specific intent/scope and develops timelines and functional resource alignment to execute intent; escalates deviations or variances on scope, timeline and budget to the Senior Merchandising Project Manager and cross functional project team
• Identifies risks and leads mitigation efforts, identifies system, process, and training gaps, as well as notes resource constraints and escalates to the respective client and the Senior Merchandising Project Manager and cross-functional team members as needed
• Coordinates the writing of project details and delivery through written communications, conference calls, and meeting
• Works cross functionally with Merchandising Execution, Store Operations, and Merchandising to ensure project details and service expectations are consistent across all service and project activities, and to connect the field and merchant points of view
• Consults with Visual Presentation Managers and Project Leads regarding resets, providing subject matter expertise regarding the planning and communication needs of resets and the Store Operations team
• Utilizes and manages large sets of data including store lists, labor capacity, budgets, inventory, etc. to ensure key stakeholders are prepared and informed for deployment
• Provides planning and execution expectations, work plans, data sets, and communication consistently to drive project and program completion
• Supplies estimates of labor, scheduling of labor, and developing the scope of work to the deployment team and other analysts where needed
• Communicates with vendors and employees in the field through all phases of the project to coordinate the execution of resets
• Reviews the communications with the Labor Source team before, during, and after resets to identify miscommunications, misunderstandings, and other risks to address the issues and develop mitigation and resolution plans to improve future execution
• Analyzes past projects to check for quality of planograms, information accessibility, etc. and works upfront with Merchandising Operations and other internal groups to provide proactive solutions
Minimum Qualifications
• 3-5 Years Experience in Merchandising, Project Planning, Retail Stores
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Bacher in Business Administration, Project Planning, Retail, or related field
