Valley National Bank Intern - Talent Development & Enterprise Learning in Morristown, New Jersey
Talent Development & Enterprise Learning Intern will assist the Learning and Development Team with classroom preparation and Learning Management system (LMS) related projects.
- Support learning programs: Help with the planning, coordination, and execution of training sessions and workshops.
- Conduct external research: Research best practices and emerging trends in talent development.
- Develop talent development expertise: Gain knowledge and skills in creating and implementing talent development strategies.
- Prepare materials and support in the classroom as needed: Assist instructional design team in creating educational materials and provide support in the classroom (as applicable).
- Course Management: Help with uploading and managing online course content within the LMS. Provide reporting.
40 Hours per week M- F
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete special Department Projects as assigned.
- Update training records via the LMS.
- Set up training programs via the LMS.
- Test online modules in LMS, provide feedback and potential solutions for any issues that may arise.
- Assist in the classroom (via Zoom) to gain valuable experience (time permitting).
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient technical skills, including applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and web browsers such as MS Edge and Google Chrome.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Displays a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to be resourceful and work independent.
Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED and enrollment in a 2 or 4-year degree program.
- Enrollment in a 4-year college or university, with a concentration in human resources or related field preferred.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
$40,800.00
$68,000.00
