This position is CONTINGENT upon funding, an open position, customer approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain our customer's sensitive clearance.

An experienced Cybersecurity Engineer proficient in DOTCOM field is needed to support the customer team in Morrisville, North Carolina. : Working as part of a small cross-functional team, this individual will participate in development and support the team's effort to maintain a secure web presence. Individual will be responsible for managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web facing applications.

Operational Duties include:

• Ensure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

• Implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting.

• Deploy threat detection and mitigation techniques to ensure data/application security.

• Work with auditors to ensure security compliance.

Required Skills:

• Functional comprehension of web application architecture.

• Understanding of PCI Security requirements.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must have 5+ years of relevant work experience

Desired Skills:

• Functional understanding of webservice Client-side protection techniques for PCI DSS compliance.

• Understanding of web application filtering, Botnet protection, API security.

Certifications desired:

• CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), Security Work Location: Morrisville, NC or Remote

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field. Or in lieu of degree, two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
