Job Description

Principal Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities:

• Relating to External Data Acquisition and Integration:Lead efforts inautomating,acquiring,validating, and integrating external market data into the organization’s data infrastructure. Ensure data is seamlessly ingested and made accessible for relevant teams. Develop processes tomonitorthe quality and timeliness of incoming market data feeds.(35%)

• Relating to Data Domain Development:Establishand manage a dedicated data domain for external market data, including the design and implementation of data models, pipelines, and storage solutions. Ensure scalability and alignment with the broader data architecture while keeping in mind business needs.(25%)

• Relating to Data Governance and Compliance: Develop and enforce governance policies specific to external market data, including data usage, quality standards, access control, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Document policies and ensure adherence to both company and industry standards.(10%)

• Relating to Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with business stakeholders, including data science, analytics, and strategy teams, to understand their market data needs and support data-driven decision-making. Act as a key point of contact for all external market data requirements within the organization.(20%)

• Relating to Continuous Improvement and Innovation:Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques in data engineering and external data integration. Continuously evaluate and implementnew technologiesto improve data accessibility, performance, and scalability. Drive initiatives to innovate andoptimizethe external market data domain.(10%)

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required, in engineeringor IT is preferred.

• 5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry

• 5+ years inData &Analytics,BusinessIntelligence&Insights or similarworking with data engineering, data infrastructure, automation/visualization of data.

• Significant experiencein thebusiness intelligence, business analytics, orIT.These requirements could be met through a variety of education and experience, providingan equivalent background. ​

• Preferred:additionalcertifications relevant to the role

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Proven experience in statistical analysis

• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly

This role willassistthe GlobalHead of Business Intelligence and Insights in defining methodologies and infrastructure for complex modelling and automation tasks. This role willassistinprovidingkey business insights to executive stakeholders to drivedecision-making. Erroneous analysis could lead to ill-informed decision making. Management will beclosely involvedto ensure outputs align with business requirements and enable proper data-driven decision-making.
