Silvis Group, Inc., is a locally owned business serving the Fayette and Westmoreland Counties of Pennsylvania. Silvis is currently hiring seasonal laborers and operators for snow removal work. Sidewalk, tractor, loader and truck positions are available.

Routes are approximately 5-6 hours, but additional hours are typically available if desired. Shifts are on-call, as the work is dependent on the weather.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Perform snow removal services in assigned area
• Operate and maintain snow removal equipment such as shovels, salt spreaders, snow blowers, skid loaders, ATV's, vehicles with plow blades, and other power and manually operated tools
• Be on call during all snow events
• Ability to work extended hours (including nights and weekends)
• Available to work in significant snowstorms
• Must be reliable and dedicated to showing up
• Must be able to handle cold weather, and work long shifts, when necessary
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Experience:

• Sidewalks: No experience necessary
• Tractor / Salt Truck Drivers: 2-3 Years experience

Licenses / Certifications:

• PA Driver's License (Preferred)
